Meet Dr. Kait

Kait Ireland

CEO, Doctor of Physical Therapy, S&C Coach

Kait is a soccer player turned strength & conditioning coach turned physical therapist.

Her academic qualifications to work with athletes include both a Masters degree in Kinesiology (studying exercise & sports conditioning) & a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Experience-wise, she’s worked for many years as a strength & conditioning coach & completed internships at notable facilities like EXOS in Arizona and Cressey Sports Performance in Massachusetts, where she’s worked with athletes from most sports and levels including folks playing in the NFL, MBA, NHL, etc.

Her drive to provide high quality care to athletes comes from her loves of sports (especially soccer), coaching/teaching, & building athleticism as well as her frustrations with the quality of care the athletes she’s worked with (prior to becoming a PT) have received from traditional physicians & physical therapists who just don’t understand the unique demands of sports participation.

Her expertise lies in her understanding of human movement, sports conditioning, & athletic injuries which allow her to help athletes become stronger, faster, more powerful, & more resilient while training or rehabbing injuries together.

She’s married to her PT-school-sweetheart, Ricky. They have an almost 2 year old son, Sebastian & a Shiba Inu named Tonks (yes, that's a HP reference). While their lives right now consist mostly of family time, Kait has enjoyed pursuing a variety of hobbies over the years including salsa & swing dancing, rock climbing, musicianship (of the big brass instrument/marching band variety), emergency medicine (catch her on the side lines of sporting events), & of course, playing soccer.
